Sunday, May 3rd, 2009

The new T-Mobile video viral filmed on Thursday 30th April 2009, 6pm, in Trafalgar Square, London.

On the 30th April, tens of thousands of people descended on Trafalgar Square in London to share a moment in Karaoke history.

The Sing-a-long Flash Mob event packed out Trafalgar Square and was T-Mobile’s second “Life is for Sharing” event, following on from the hugely successful T-Mobile Dance, held in Liverpool Street Station in January 2009.

T-Mobile Dance Viral

Monday, January 19th, 2009

The new T-Mobile video viral filmed on Thursday 15th January 2009, 11am, at Liverpool Street Station, London.

The video, created by Saatchi & Saatchi London, features 350 dancers breaking into a dance routine at Liverpool Street station. The advert premiered during the takeover of an entire commercial break during Celebrity Big Brother on Channel 4.

Viewers watching the advert on TV are able to use the red button functionality to view extra footage of the making of the advert. T-Mobile has also created a YouTube channel (www.youtube.co.uk/lifesforsharing) where people can upload videos and see humorous clips featuring celebrities being taught how to do the T-Mobile dance. In late January, some of the dancers from the advert will tour the major cities throughout the UK.

Christmas Online Marketing from T-Mobile

Wednesday, December 17th, 2008

A clever Christmas e-mail campaign from T-Mobile, sent to my inbox today, which manages to raise their brand awareness and generate leads directly through an incentive driven data capture form.

Existing customers receiving the e-mail above are directed to www.t-mobilechristmas.co.uk, where their forename initially appears in lights, before being pre-populated in a data capture form that encourages them to e-mail a Christmas message to their friends (and hence increase T-Mobile brand awareness).

Potential customers directed to www.t-mobilechristmas.co.uk can also e-mail a Christmas message to their friends and opt into receiving communications (allowing T-Mobile to directly market their products).

Well done T-Mobile and Experian CheetahMail!
