On the 30th April, tens of thousands of people descended on Trafalgar Square in London to share a moment in Karaoke history.
The Sing-a-long Flash Mob event packed out Trafalgar Square and was T-Mobile’s second “Life is for Sharing” event, following on from the hugely successful T-Mobile Dance, held in Liverpool Street Station in January 2009.

Barclaycard has launched its Waterslide Challenge, challenging consumers to create a spoof version of their waterslide ad. All that entrants need to do is create a waterslide, film it and post it to www.youtube.com/barclaycardcreate.
The film that gets the most votes on YouTube will win a once in a lifetime trip for two, riding some of the world’s top waterslides in Dubai, China, Brazil, Germany and the US (+ camera and laptop to blog about the trip).

The video, created by Saatchi & Saatchi London, features 350 dancers breaking into a dance routine at Liverpool Street station. The advert premiered during the takeover of an entire commercial break during Celebrity Big Brother on Channel 4.
Viewers watching the advert on TV are able to use the red button functionality to view extra footage of the making of the advert. T-Mobile has also created a YouTube channel (www.youtube.co.uk/lifesforsharing) where people can upload videos and see humorous clips featuring celebrities being taught how to do the T-Mobile dance. In late January, some of the dancers from the advert will tour the major cities throughout the UK.
